   In spring the Earth awakens and 
    a sweetness fills the air as life
    renews itself.  No one appreciates
    spring like a Minnesotan.  Come
    and revitalize your body.  In this
    class we will incorporate both
    fresh seasonal produce and wild
    edible foods into the menus. 
    Learn to eat more lightly as the
    days both warm and lengthen.
 
MORE SOY SPRING
  

The list of health benefits from soy protein continues to grow daily. Current research points to the protective effects of soy for: 

·        reducing the risk of certain cancers

·        reducing the risk of heart disease,

·        relieving symptoms of menopause,

·        and slowing bone loss.

 

This class will feature tofu, soy milk, tempeh, miso, and many of the other soy foods available on the market today.  Discover quick , easy, and delicious ways of incorporating  these foods into your diet. 

COOKING WITH KIDS
Sometimes kids can be very picky and erratic eaters.  How do we get them to eat vegetables and other wholesome food?  This class will have parents and kids cooking together, making easy, fun and nutritious vegetarian foods.
